Blog/ a bit of buzz about Rome and Italy.

Clang Clang Clang

Have you ever noticed a refurbished vintage tram rocking around Viale Aventino on an evening ride out of the city? I have always wondered, first of all, what it was (ghost tram?) And then thought, “Why aren’t I on it?” After a bit of research, thanks to a tip from a reader, I found Tram Belcanto: the singing tram that traipses around the city every Friday evening, starting at 9 pm. Why are they dancing? Well, the tram stops atop the Celio for an amazing view of the Colosseo and a lovely dinner of delicious regional foods and wines.
