ERICA FIRPO

Erica Firpo is a freelance writer, cultural consultant, media strategist and backseat driver living in Rome, Italy. She received a B.A in History of Art from the University of Pennsylvania, participated in a Master’s painting program from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, and eventually worked in PR and curatorial positions at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection (Venice) and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions. She has written books for Insight Guides and Fodors, as well as self-publishing her own series of dining guides- Little Black Book Rome and Little Black Book Copenhagen . Her writing covers art, travel, food, fashion and even sports and has appeared in The Guardian, New York Times, Los Angeles Downtown and BBC Travel.
